1974 Puch 175 MX

In 1971-1972 Jeff Wright rode a similar model of this bike at ascot and was virtually unbeatable. Puchs are powerful excellent handling machines but complex in their engineering. In fact almost every aspect of this bike is over engineered.

Not many were sold and Puchs were not considered a threat until Harry Everts won the world championship on a 1976 twin carburetor 250. This is a very exact and original example as the bike had less than 2 hours riding time prior to coming to The Owen Collection. Because it was abused in storage, a restoration was performed to return it to its original beauty. It is a very fast little bike!
